Preschool Program

Our Preschool Program offers a consistent daily schedule for children ages 2 1/2 to 4. We model a research based curriculum, which takes an "active participatory approach" to learning. Children learn to follow a consistent daily routine, make plans and follow through, and resolve conflicts in a way that is respectful and helps with social development. Teachers share control of learning by interacting with children verbally and non-verbally during play and throughout the day. The classroom is set up in interest areas according to the likes of the current classroom make up. Once enrolled students begin to take ownership of the classroom by helping to identify, label, organize, and clean up materials each day, their confidence and ownership in the classroom increases. With teacher-child interaction at the forefront, our teaching staff supports children's learning by introducing new vocabulary, concepts and ideas through active participation.
