Waddler Care
Our Waddler room provides an opportunity for children typically between the ages of 12 months and 18 months to develop a sense of community through a smaller class size. Children continue learning through their social interactions and hands on experiences with support from caregiving staff. The children engage in reading, music and movement, free play, group time, sensory activities and art. Children follow a consistent daily routine, begin to learn self help skills and empathy toward others. Some of the self help skills include using utensils, drinking from a cup and scooping their own food. Some children are even working on putting on their own shoes! Materials, lessons and activities are planned according to the children's interests.
